MOU Signing between UFLS-UD and University of Huddersfield, the United Kingdom

On November 21st 2018 at University of Foreign Language Studies – The University of Danang took place the MOU signing ceremony between University of Foreign Language Studies – The University of Danang and University of Huddersfield, the United Kingdom.

The signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Wayne Bailey – Director of International Cooperation, School of Education, University of Huddlefield, the United Kingdom; Ms. Lê Thị Xuân – Director of International Office in Vietnam, University of Huddlefield, the United Kingdom. On the part of UFLS-UD, A/Prof. Dr. Trần Hữu Phúc – Rector, Dr. Đào Thị Thanh Phượng – Vice-Rector, representatives of functional departments, faculties and students of UFLS-UD.

The signing ceremony for collaboration between the two institutions has come to a fruitful end with a strong sense of trust and consensus established between the two parties, which is an important milestone for further collaboration and development in future.

University of Huddersfield was established in 1825, and is located in the heart of Huddersfield – an old and friendly city, only about an hour’s drive to Liverpool, Leeds, York, Manchester and Birmingham. Huddersfield is one of the ten cities known as “Rising Stars” in the United Kingdom in terms of socio-cultural diversity, and is also where the living cost is amongst the lowest in England. University of Huddersfield is ranked amongst the top ten modern universities in the UK as far as the quality of training as well as teaching and learning facilities are concerned. The training programs at UoH have highly practical and vocationally realistic elements, contributing to students’ high level of satisfaction (according to the ranking by National Student Survey). UoH has already been awarded the title ‘The State-of-the-art University with High Quality Training’ by Times Higher Education Supplement.
