SCHOLARSHIP AWARDING CEREMONY OF KOREA FOUNDATION AND SAMSUNG ELECTRONICS VIETNAM’S 2021 FOR STUDENTS OF KOREAN LANGUAGE MAJOR

On the morning of December 8th, 2021, University of Foreign Language Studies– The University of Danang (UFLS-UD) in cooperation with Korea Foundation and Samsung Electronics Vietnam held the online scholarship awarding ceremony with 20 scholarships (250 USD/ scholarship) given to 15 students with excellent academic performance and 5 financially disadvantaged students of Korean language major, Faculty of Korean Language and Culture - UFLS-UD.

This is the second time that such a  scholarship is awarded for UFLS students under the five-year agreement of scholarship funding between Korea Foundation and UFLS-UD. This agreement was signed in July 2020 with the total budget of up to 52,000USD funded by Samsung Electronics Vietnam with the aim of introducing Korean culture and promoting the learning of Korean language among Vietnamese people.
