Strengthening collaboration with JICA

On the afternoon of April 22, 2025, University of Foreign Language Studies (UFLS) welcomed a delegation from Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), led by Mr. Ohi Toshiaki, along with current volunteer teachers working at the university.

The meeting took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere, with the participation of Dr. Nguyễn Hữu Bình - Vice Rector, leaders of Faculty of Japanese Language and Culture, Department of Science and International Cooperation and several faculty members.
 
The event was also an opportunity to express gratitude and bid farewell to Ms. Yusa Shiori – a JICA volunteer who has made significant contributions to teaching activities at the university. At the same time, the university warmly welcomed Ms. Okada Miho – the new JICA volunteer, who will be working from April 16 to October 14, 2025.
 
On behalf of the university, Dr. Nguyễn Hữu Bình expressed appreciation for Ms. Yusa Shiori’s contributions and affirmed the university’s desire to further strengthen collaboration with JICA in areas such as student exchange, research support, and curriculum development.
 
The meeting reaffirmed the strong partnership between the university and JICA, while opening up new opportunities for future cooperation.
