Function:
The Department of Testing and Quality Assurance was established to advise and assist the Rector in managing and administrating the work of testing, evaluation and quality assurance of education in the university.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluating students’ learning in accordance with current regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
- Advising the Rector with regard to the type and format of assessments, acceptable responses and grading criteria.
- In collaboration with the Office for Academic Affairs organize and produce examinations and evaluation processes in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, the statutes of the University of Da Nang and the University of Foreign Language Studies.
- Recommend measures to improve testing and assessment leading to improvements in training quality.
- Developing and monitoring the operations of the training quality assurance system in the university; guiding and supporting other units to implement the work of the educational quality testing; completing the self-assessment plan; testing the training programs.
