Function:
The University of Foreign Language Studies, supports the Department of Student Affairs as one of 8 offices that serve distinct functions. The Office was established under Decision No. 85/QĐ – ĐHĐN – TCCB issued by the President of the University of Da Nang dated January 8th, 2008.
The Office is responsible for advising and assisting the Rector in political and ideological education of students. The Office strives to enhance the education of Vietnamese youth towards achieving the highest levels of personal and professional integrity, to develop a strong work ethic, to be loyal and responsible citizens, while also obtaining the qualifications necessary to contribute to national development and the sovereignty of the nation.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting political meetings for students at the start of a new term.
- Cooperating with other departments to supervise students in study and training.
- Collaborating with other authorities to manage resident and non – resident students and conduct healthcare, health insurance and physical damage insurance for students.
- Carrying out policies related to scholarships, social assistance, tuition reduction, and other supports for students in an efficient, comprehensive and timely manner.
- Collaborating with other departments to organize Opening and Graduation Ceremonies for students.
- Implementing and enforcing student discipline and rewards in accordance with University policy and procedures
