Faculty Overview:
The Faculty of Japanese-Korean-Thai was founded when three divisions of Japanese, Korean and Thai were separated from the Faculty of Chinese-Japanese. Japanese Division was founded in 2003, Korean Division in 2005, and Thai Division in 2006. The number of teaching staff was limited at that time. Since then the Faculty has always received strong support from Japan JICA, Korea KOICA and Thai Embassy. Every year the teachers in the Faculty take part in training courses in Vietnam and foreign countries.
At the beginning, the permanent faculty included seven Japanese lecturers, two Korean lecturers, and one office staff. Currently 5 Japanese experts, 5 Koreans and 2 Thais are teaching at the Faculty.
