Great prizes awarded to students of UFLS-UD at the English Speaking Contest “I Love Singapore” and “Malaysia through the Internet”

On October 28th 2018, at the auditorium of UFLS-UD took place the English Speaking Contest Final of “I Love Singapore”. This is a contest organised by Danang Union of Friendship Organisations (DUFO) on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam-Singapore diplomatic relations (01/8/1973 - 01/08/2018).

After nearly two months competing with absolutely special and impressive performances, UFLS-UD students have made very encouraging achievements. For example, recently,  Duong Nguyen Tue Giang, a student of 15SPA02- the Faculty of Foreign Language Teachers’ Education won the 2nd prize in a National English speaking contest. This proud merit has greatly contributed to the overall achievements of UFLS-UD

To commemorate the 45th anniversary of the diplomatic relations established between Vietnam and Malaysia (30/03/1973-30/03/2018), DUFO has organised the Contest “Malaysia through the Internet” with the aim of enhancing the understanding of Da Nang people about the land and people of Malaysia as well as the friendship and cooperation between the two nations in general and between Da Nang City and Malaysia in particular, which contributes to strengthened bilateral ties between Vietnam and Malaysia.

With the in-depth knowledge, the real passion for and the eager spirit of discovery and exploration, students of UFLS-UD have actively responded to the competition, excellently accomplishing the task and winning the first group prize. Also, students Nguyen Thi Tuy Tien from Class 16CNH02 won the 1st prize and Nghiem Van Anh from Class 17CNNDL01 won the third prize.
