Meeting between UFLS and Yokohama National University, Japan

On the morning of May 16, 2017, a delegation from Yokohama National University in Japan paid a visit to UFLS. The delegates included Prof. Ogawa Yoshimi, Prof. Kawano Toshiyuki from Japanese Department and Dr. Le Anh Tuan - Head of Yokohama National University’s Representative Office in Da Nang, Viet Nam.

Yokohama National University, Japan is known as one of the top universities in Japan and a dynamic, professional learning environment that attracts a large number of international students. At the meeting, Dr. Dao Thi Thanh Phuong, UFLS Vice Rector, gave a brief introduction about UFLS and emphasized: “UFLS ​​always attaches great importance to expanding cooperation with training institutions around the world. Japan has been one of the strategic partners of UFLS for a long time. Therefore, UFLS hopes to establish effective cooperation with Yokohama National University. On the basis of mutual understanding and desires, the two sides discussed and explored a number of opportunities for cooperation and agreed to soon realize these goals.”
 
 
Prof. Ogawa Yoshimi, Prof. Kawano Toshiyuki from Japanese Department of Yokohama National University then attended a conference with lecturers from the Department of Japanese - Korean - Thai of UFLS in order to find out some solutions to the development of Japanese language promotion in the future.

Dr. Ngo Quang Vinh, Head of Japanese - Korean - Thai Department sent a great thank-you to the two professors from Yokohama National University and shared with them the pros and cons of Japanese teaching practice at UFLS
