Opening Ceremony of the 229th AUN-QA External Assessment of English Language Teaching Programme

On the morning of 23 August 2021, the opening ceremony of the 229th AUN-QA External Programme Assessment of the ASEAN University Network Quality Assurance Council took place online. This online assessment was conducted in response to the context of COVID-19 prevention and control, yet still ensured the objectiveness, transparency, fairness, impartiality and accuracy. The assessment outcomes would serve as the basis for constant improvements of the training programs, meeting requirements of the university’s quality enhancement and sustainable development, and best catering to the needs of learners and stakeholders.

This continued involvement of UFLS-UD in the AUN-QA Assessment for the English Language Teaching Programme is of great significance, enabling the university to better identify its strengths and areas for improvement, to perform constant upgrade of its training and research quality, to serve the demand of development and international integration, and to ensure the best benefits of learners and stakeholders.
 
UFLS-UD is one of the first educational institutions to gain the national accreditation for tertiary education quality. The English Language and International Studies Programmes of UFLS-UD have been internationally audited and certified to meet the AUN-QA Standards.   The University has been working on a roadmap for the accreditation of other training programs, aiming at successfully implementing its sustainable development strategies and facilitating its integration into regional and international higher education system.
