OPENNING CEREMONY OF ACADEMIC YEAR 2021-2022

On the morning of October 15th, 2021, the University of Foreign Language Studies - the University of Danang (UFLS-UD) held an online opening ceremony to celebrate the new academic year 2021-2022 and welcome nearly 1,900 freshmen of Cohort 2021.

Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc. Dr. Tran Huu Phuc – UFLS Rector warmly welcomed the delegates, officials, lecturers and students to attend the Opening Ceremony. The Rector reviewed the outstanding accomplishments that the University has achieved in the 2020-2021 school year, especially in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic.

 

Also addressing at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngo Van Duong -Deputy Director of University of Danang acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements of UFLS-UD in the academic year 2020-2021 and expressed his belief that the Board of Rectors, support and academic staff as well as  students of the University would continue to strive for further success in the academic year of 2021-2022, actively contribute to the whole  development of UD as well as the innovation in education and training of the nation and the region.

 

UFLS-UD has undergone 36 years of construction and development, with 19 years being an official member among higher education institutions of the University of Danang. The university is currently putting strong efforts to implement the 5th UFLS Party Congress Resolution, the 6th UD Party Congress Resolution, the 2020-2025 term. The academic year 2021-2022 is also the last year of the cycle that the University performs its duties as a higher education institution being recognized in achieving educational quality assurance standards. The strong development of the University in the past period is the result of collective efforts of leaders, many generations of lecturers as well as students.
