University of Foreign Language Studies - the University of Danang offers grants to disadvantaged students.

On the morning of 18 January, 2017, University of Foreign Language Studies (UFLS), the University of Danang awarded scholarships to 82 students whose families suffered severely from the devastating floods in Central Vietnam over the last few months.
These awarded students are from such localities as Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, etc. which were seriously damaged over the past months. Each student received a scholarship worth 500,000VND.
At the Scholarship Award Ceremony Assoc. Prof. Duong Quoc Quong - Vice Rector of UFLS spoke, “Until now, thanks to the support from many different agencies and enterprises, the university’s scholarship fund has increased up to 600 million VND”.
This Scholarship Award Ceremony was held on the last few days before the students returned home for family reunion for traditional Tet celebration. This meaningful activity helps partly sharing difficulties with them and their families in the hope that they will make more determined efforts to gain better academic performances in the upcoming time.
