OPENING OF READING WEEK 2023 AT UNIVERSITY OF FOREIGN LANGUAGE STUDIES - UD

On the morning of April 21, 2023, University of Foreign Language Studies, the University of Danang (UFLS-UD) officially held the opening ceremony of the UFLS Reading Week 2023 with the theme "Books: Awareness - Innovation - Creativity."
A series of events and activities in the reading week aimed to encourage students to embrace books as a repository of knowledge and human civilization, making contribution to the development of the country and international integration.
At the event, the Organizing Board also announced the results and awarded prizes for the video clip design competition titled "Books and Changes of My Life." The competition, launched on March 24, received 70 video entries from students representing different faculties. These videos showcased profound content, inspirational messages, and positive energy for the viewers.
The UFLS Reading Week 2023 took place from April 21 to April 27, featuring various exciting activities such as the talk shows "How to Grow Your Mind for Lasting Success" and "Great Books in the Translation Journey," as well as a specialized seminar on "The Future of Foreign Language Teaching in Vietnam with the Assistance of ChatGPT." The UFLS Reading Week was also an occasion for lecturers, staff and students of different faculties to explore the book exhibitions of various bookstores and do on-site reading with numerous book copies from the community library.
