The seminar “Counselling on Learning Pathways for English Output Achievement for Students of University of Education – The University of Da Nang” was held online on August 21, 2021 by University of Foreign Language Studies with the attendance of nearly 2,000 students.

Dr. Huynh Ngoc Mai Kha, UFLS-UD Vice Rector, emphasized the significance of collaboration among UD’s member universities in supporting and promoting students’ active learning to meet the English output requirement, thereby contributing to the enhancement of teaching and learning quality of the University. Dr. Huynh Ngoc Mai Kha expressed her gratitude to leaders of University of Education for their collaboration in realizing the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between two Universities. Accordingly, all lecturers will accompany their students in building effective learning pathways so that they can foster their foreign language skills towards output requirements and meet job recruitment requirements after graduation.

Stemming from the need of improving the quality of foreign language teaching and learning, UFLS-UD previously signed the Memoranda of Understanding (MOU) with University of Education and University of Technology and Education, The University of Da Nang. Under this MOU, the parties will closely work together to organize teaching and testing of the English language for students, including giving entrance tests, teaching, testing and assessing students, particularly advising students on learning methods and learning pathways. This quality pursuit would facilitate students’ achievement of the required foreign language proficiency and offer them opportunity to obtain other national and international foreign language certificates.
