Signing MOU between UFLS-UD, Viet Nam and Hyogo University of Teacher Education, Japan

On the afternoon of 10 February 2017, University of Foreign Language Studies, the University of Danang (UFLS-UD) signed an MOU with Hyogo University of Teacher Education, Japan whose delegation was led by Professor Fukuda Mitsuhiro - Rector.

During the meeting, from UFLS-UD, Dr. Tran Huu Phuc - Rector, Dr. Dao Thi Thanh Phuong - Vice Rector, Dr. Ngo Quang Vinh - Dean of Department of Japanese-Korean-Thai, M.A. Du Thoai Tu, Head of Japanese Division (part of Department of Japanese-Korean-Thai), Dr Huynh Thi Huynh Loc - Head of Office for Research and International Cooperation welcomed the Hyogo University of Teacher Education from Japan.

The two universities had a discussion and then signed an MOU as a foundation for designing cooperative training programs and lecturer and student exchanges between the two schools.

Both parties agreed to the terms and conditions of the MOU and would make attempts to jointly realize them as soon as possible. Dr Tran Huu Phuc hoped the Hyogo delegation had a good impression of UFLS-UD as well as Danang city. Professor Fukuda Mitsuhiro believed that, based on the common features shared by the two universities, this cooperative relationship would be maintained and fostered in the future. Both universities hoped that this MOU would open up numerous long-term cooperative opportunities for the two schools in the field of academic exchange for lecturers and students as well as many other cultural activities.

Hyogo University of Teacher Education is one of the leading teaching universities in Japan. The university has signed similar MOUs with 25 other universities in 12 countries in Asia, the USA and Europe.
