Opening Ceremony of Korean Classes - Sejong Da Nang Project

In the afternoon of August 13, 2018, University of Foreign Language Studies ​​– The University of Da Nang, held the Opening Ceremony of Korean Classes - Sejong Da Nang Project. This is the achievement of the cooperation program between University of Foreign Language Studies - The University of Da Nang and the Korean Sejong Foundation to provide opportunities for lecturers and students to study and enhance competence in Korean language and culture.

Speaking at the Opening Ceremony of Korean classes - Sejong Da Nang project, Assoc. Prof. Dr.Tran Huu Phuc - Rector of University of Foreign Language Studies – The University of Danang said that Sejong Da Nang is the only one of the 15 Korean institutions of Sejong Center in Danang, Vietnam.
"This is an effort of University of Foreign Language Studies – The University of Da Nang, the Department of Japanese-Korean -Thai and the experts, lecturers and volunteers to help Korean-major students of the University and the Korean-learning community in Central Vietnam to have access to Korean language and culture"- confirmed Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Huu Phuc.
 
With the experience of 15-year Korean language training, through project inspection, the Sejong Foundation under the South Korea’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has licensed the Sejong Da Nang project to be fully operational without any affiliation with any university in South Korea.

After the Opening Ceremony, the Sejon Danang project has started the first Korean classes.
