FINAL ROUND AND AWARD CEREMONY OF THE ENGLISH, FRENCH, CHINESE AND JAPANESE SPEAKING CONTEST FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS IN DANANG CITY IN 2023

On the afternoon of May 27, 2023, University of Foreign Language Studies - The University of Danang (UFLS-UD) in collaboration with the Department of Education and Training (ET) of Da Nang city held the Final Round and the Closing - Awarding Ceremony of the English, French, Chinese and Japanese Speaking Contest for high school students in Danang City in 2023
After intense and exciting competitions in the 4 language categories: English, French, Chinese and Japanese, with the fairness and responsibility of the judging panel including representatives from consulates, international organizations, experienced foreign language teachers and lecturers of the city and the University, the Organizing Committee selected excellent candidates to award 04 First Prizes, 06 Second Prizes, 09 Third Prizes and 19 Consolation Prizes.
At the ceremony, Assoc.Prof. PhD. Tran Huu Phuc congratulated the outstanding candidates on their achievements and emphasized that the success of the Contest demonstrated the passion of high school students in Da Nang city for foreign languages and the confidence in their own abilities. The Contest also showcased the due attention and significant investment of the education authorities, high school leaders and parents of students. The contest will continue to serve as a prestigious academic playground, helping to promote foreign language learning amongst students and shape a new generation with comprehensive knowledge and skills required in the era of international integration.
