MOU Signing Ceremony with Ikchon Gildongmu Cultural Foundation (Korea)

On the morning of June 6, 2024, University of Foreign Language Studies, the University of Danang (UFLS-UD) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Ikchon Gildongmu Cultural Foundation from Korea, marking a significant step forward in academic cooperation and cultural exchange between the two institutions.
In his opening remarks, Dr. Nguyen Huu Binh – Vice Rector of UFLS-UD emphasized the importance of the MOU, stating: “This agreement not only opens up practical cooperation opportunities in education, culture, and academic exchange, but also reflects a strong commitment to building a sustainable and long-lasting friendship between Vietnam and Korea through education and cultural collaboration.” He expressed confidence that, with the support of the Foundation, programs such as scholarships, internships, and student exchange would continue to grow, bringing meaningful benefits to both academic communities.
Speaking on behalf of the Foundation, Mr. Kim Pan Soo – Chairman of the Ikchon Gildongmu Cultural Foundation – shared his appreciation for the partnership and highlighted: “This MOU serves as an important platform for promoting literary exchange and cultural cooperation, fostering stronger ties between the people of Korea and Vietnam through mutual understanding and friendship.”
This partnership marks the beginning of a promising journey to enhance the academic environment at UFLS-UD through dynamic, creative, and humanistic international engagement. It also affirms the University’s ongoing efforts to expand its international partnerships, particularly with Korea – a country that shares many cultural and educational similarities and remains one of UFLS-UD’s strategic partners.
