INTERNSHIP AT MIKAZUKI CORPORATION JAPAN - EXPERIENCE OF COHORT-19 STUDENTS, ACADEMIC YEAR 2022-2023

On the morning of April 19, 2023, the group of 4th year students from the Faculty of Japanese Language and Culture, UFLS-UD flew to Japan, where they would spend half a year practicing in a professional environment at Kinugawa Hotel and Katsuura Mikazuki Hotel, Japan.
The group of 14 female students from Cohort 19 went through many rounds of interviews, and were selected to receive a scholarship for a 6-month paid internship in Japan. The scholarship covers round-trip airfare and accommodation in Japan, sponsored by Mikazuki Corporation Japan - a famous Japanese hotel brand.
After the internship at the hotel, the students also have the opportunity to visit Japan and engage extra-curricular activities such as travelling, experiencing culture and food….and other exciting activities.
The Faculty of Japanese Language & Culture, UFLS-UD, constantly maintains partnership with national and international businesses to provide students with many internship opportunities and best support for their studies. In addition to the paid internship opportunities in Japan, many other usesul programs such as study abroad, short-term training, student exchange, etc… are also under implementation at the university.
