TRAINING PROGRAM OF FOSTERING PEDAGOGICAL COMPETENCE FOR ENGLISH TEACHERS

Pursuant to Official Letter No. 6171/BGDĐT - KHTC dated December 29, 2021 of the Ministry of Education and Training on guiding the implementation of tasks of the National Foreign Language Project in 2022, University of Foreign Language Studies - the University of Danang (UFLS-UD) in collaboration with the Department of Education & Training of Phu Yen province and the Department of Education & Training of Dak Nong province, held the opening ceremony of the training program of fostering pedagogical competence for English teachers in Phu Yen and Dak Nong provinces on 2 days 12/7 and 19/7/2022.
Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Long - Vice Rector of UFLS-UD emphasized the importance of fostering pedagogical competence for English teachers. Dr. Nguyen Van Long affirmed that the training course is very necessary to help students enhance their pedagogical competence in English teaching methodology, using English for teaching (EFT), testing and assessment, and building learning environment activities. All is to meet the requirements for implementing the new General Education program 2018 for the English subject.
