INTERNAL QUALITY ASSURANCE ASSESSMENT OF THE UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMME OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEACHING

The University of Foreign Language Studies-University of Danang has recently conducted the internal assessment of the undergraduate English Language Teaching Programme of the Faculty of Language Teacher Education. This aimed to have a thorough preparation for the official external assessment at program level in accordance with the AUN-QA standards taking place in August 2021.
The assessment delegation led by Assoc. Pro. Dr. Dinh Thanh Viet, Director of the Department of Educational Quality Assurance, University of Da Nang had meetings with the self-assessment committee of the university. Direct interviews were carried out with academic staff, support staff and the students of the English Teaching Programme with the aim of evaluating the educational quality, the effectiveness of training and research activities, the condition of facilities and equipment, and other related issues. The conclusions made by the internal assessment delegation will serve as premise for adjustments to all related issues towards AUN-QA standards, making it ready for the external AUN-QA assessment of the undergraduate programme of English Language Teaching, Faculty of Language Teacher Education.
