Internships in Japan

In the morning of May 21st, 2005, University of Foreign Language Studies - The University of Da Nang (UFLS-UD) and Edo Wonderland, Japan signed an internship cooperative agreement for Japanese Division students, Department of Japanese – Korean – Thai, University of Foreign Language Studies.

The Edo Wonderland delegation led by Mr. Ryoichi Yuki – President and General Director of Edo Wonderland met with senior leaders of UFLS, among whom were Dr. Tran Huu Phuc –Rector of UFLS, Dr. Dao Thi Thanh Phuong – Vice Rector, Dr. Ngo Quang Vinh – Dean of Japanese – Korean – Thai Department, Dr. Ho Sy Thang Kiet – Head of The Office for Science and International Cooperation.

At the meeting, Dr. Tran Huu Phuc introduced briefly the overview of UFLS and contents related to Japanese training of the UFLS Japanese – Korean – Thai Department.

Cooperative agreement signing
 
Under the agreement, The University of Foreign Language Studies recommends final-year students with good performance and Japanese language ability to intern at Edo Wonderland. UFLS also is in charge of providing procedures necessary for students to intern in Japan, providing students practical and necessary information about work and life in Japan.
In return, Edo Wonderland offers yearly internships to UFLS students at the company in Japan, supplies interns with accommodations, travel, health care and salary.

The two sides hoped to design practical and useful programs to support interns as well as to improve their professional skills. The cooperative agreement signing marks a great step forward in bilateral relations and opens new and prospective opportunities for cooperative development.
