MEETING ON SUMMARIZING RESULTS OF ACTIVITIES IN ACADEMIC YEAR 2021-22 AND IMPLEMENTING MASTER PLAN FOR ACADEMIC YEAR 2022-2023

On the afternoon of 31st July 2022, UFLS – UD organized the meeting on summarizing the results of activities in academic year 2021-2022 and implementing the master plan for academic year 2022-2023.
As in the opening remarks, Associate Professor Dr. Tran Huu Phuc – Rector of UFLS – UD stated that the academic year 2021-2022 was profoundly remarkable to the University. Regardless of the dire consequences arising from Covid-19, a lot of synchronous measures have been put in place, allowing the university to gain notable achievements in the academic year 2021-2022 and set the sights on numerous targets in the 2022-2023.
Based on the reports from all the functional units, Associate Professor Dr. Tran Huu Phuc, Secretary of the Party Committee and Rector of the University moderated the meeting where discussion was made in the spirit of democracy to co-construct a directional path of development.
According to Associate Professor Dr. Tran Huu Phuc, while confronting the Covid-19 pandemic, the University shifted quickly from organizing all the affairs in person to the online platform. Apart from activities required on-site, all the functional units also adjusted the operation of their duties appropriately in face of social distancing measures. Thanks to that, the university has positioned its identity further in every single aspect, which is attributed to appreciative efforts of all the staff.
At the meeting, high-achieving units and individual staff were also awarded Certificate of Merit by the rector for their excellent contributions to program assessment of Bachelor of Arts in English language teaching in accordance with the requirements and standard details of ASEAN University Network – Quality Assurance (AUN-QA).
