Updated : 2021/07/01
On the morning of May 28, 2021, the University of Foreign Languages - University of Danang (UFLS-UD) successfully hosted the Student Research Conference 2021 on Microsoft Teams platform. 217 students participated in the conference with 145 research paper presentations grouped into 15 sub-committees. The conference also attracted an audience of more than 400 lecturers and students.
The number of 217 students involved in 145 institution-level research topics from 8 faculties showcases a serious effort, a potential reseach ability and an encouraging research passion of the students.
Thanks to the dedication of academic supervisors from different faculties, students’ research papers this year have higher quality covering diverse research areas such as: linguistics, teaching methodology, pedagogy, literature, socio-cultural studies, tourism, translation and interpretation, international and regional issues.
Most of the papers, selected and nominated from the faculty-level Student Research Conference, are rich in scientific content and have practical implications for teaching and learning. The published papers will be useful materials for teaching and learning activities as well as for the promotion of students’ creativity and research competence.
Scientific research activities in general and student research in particular have always been of interest to the University which are held annually, synchronously and widely, contributing to the achievement of the university’s goal of becoming a core research-oriented higher education institution.
