STUDENTS OF UFLS - UD PARTICIPATE IN ACADEMIC EXCHANGE PROGRAM AT UBON RATCHATHANI UNIVERSITY, THAILAND

From July 9th 2022 to August 7th 2022, 36 students of UFLS - UD majoring in Business English, Tourism English and English for Translation and Interpreting took part in the academic exchange program at Ubon Ratchathani University in Thailand.
The delegation of students were led by MA. Le Van Ba - Vice Dean of the Faculty of English for Specific Purposes. This exchange program is part of cooperative program for learning and culture between Ubon Ratchathani University and UFLS - UD.
This is an annual activity which has been organized since 2016 for UFLS - UD’s students of the High Quality Program of the English Language Major.
Attending the program, students had the opportunities to develop English communication skills as well as intercultural communication competence - en essetial skill for the young labor forces to achieve success amid the current context of globalization and international integration.
The program also exposed students to courses for career orientation, chances of cultural exchange with lecturers and students in Thailand, and visits to well-known local attractions.
