“Taiwan Education Fair 2018” at University of Foreign Language Studies – The University of Danang

Taiwan Education Fair 2018 took place at University of Foreign Language Studies (UFLS) – the University of Danang (UD) on 28/9/2018 with the participation of 39 topnotch universities from Taiwan, such as National Chi nan University, National Taipei University of Technology, Van Tao University of Foreign Languages, Cao Hung University of Hotel Management and Tourism, … . The fair drew nearly 2000 pupils and students in Danang to come and visit.

In her speech, Dr. Dao Thi Thanh Phuong, the Vice Principal of University of Foreign Language Studies – the University of Danang said: “University of Foreign Language Studies – the University of Danang has always stayed proud to be a pretigious training and research organization in the field of language teaching, linguistics, and international studies. Our university is also honoured to have contributed to the development of our country by providing skilled labor for most professions and industries. The long-term and sustainable development goal is to build the school image with active, creative, honest, reliable teachers and students who will be able to live and work in the current competitive multicultural environment. In this opening ceremony, we would like to send our special thanks to the Taipei Office of Economics and Culture, National Chi Nan University, and Taiwan Education Center in Ho Chi Minh City who all have cooperated with our school in many activities to carefully prepare for the huge event today.”

The fair witnessed the participation of 39 universities from Taiwan, many of which are ranked high in the regional and world rankings and offer full and partial scholarships for undergraduate and graduate programs. In addition to programs delivered in Chinese, many of them offer programs fully taught in English to Vietnamese students.
Cutting the opening ribbon at the Fair
Taiwan education has been considered one of the high-quality educations of Asia, providing practical training programs and offering learners with great opportunities of conducting experiments and research. Lecturers of many local universities received in-depth expertise training, have state-of-the-art teaching methods that suit international students. Many Vietnamese students have chosen Taiwan as their academic destination taking into account reasonable living expenses, job opportunities, and social welfare policies.
