The Japanese-Language Proficiency Contest at the Central Area and Western Highlands of Vietnam

On July 1st, at University of Language Studies (UFLS), the University of Da Nang, a Japanese-language proficiency Test Round 1 2018 was held with the participation of 2,837 candidates at the two places of examination: UFLS and the University of Technology and Education, the University of Da Nang.
 
To meet the demand of the increasing number of Japanese learners and Japanese test takers t in Da Nang and Central Vietnam, UFLS cooperated with the Japanese Centre for International Exchange in hosting a Japanese-language competence Test Round 1 2018.
 
Da Nang is one of the four local host institutions in Vietnam. The test held at UFLS is under the academic supervision of the Japanese Division (the Faculty of Japanese, Korean and Thai).
 
The Japanese-language proficiency test is intended for language learners whose mother tongues are languages other than Japanese. It has five levels from N1 to N5, focusing on vocabulary, listening, reading and grammar.
 
The test meets the testing requirements set by Japanese Centre for International Exchange and introduced worldwide. This is the 9th year UFLS has hosted this test.
 
It is expected that the test results will be released in October 2010.
