According to the accredited school action plan – the academic year 2017-2018, on the morning of May 22nd, 2018, the oral defense of students’ graduation paper (Cohort 2014-2018) was formally held by Department of International Studies at 131 Luong Nhu Hoc Campus (UFLS – UDN). This year, there were 17 papers categorized into three Examining Committees on the following themes: International Relations, Laws – Religions and Cultural – Social Sciences.
In order to have a graduation paper qualified enough to be eligible for the defense stage, the students had to work very hard in a long period of time under the significant support of their supervisors. To properly and fully assess such long-term effort of the students, the oral defense session of the Department was carefully prepared and strictly follow the suggested steps. The three Examining Committees were working very hard with a strong sense of responsibility and justice to listen, discuss, debate students’ thesis and finally to come up with some feedbacks for their latter modification of the paper.
