UFLS STUDENTS GOT EXHILARATED BY FIELD TRIP

Updated : 2021/04/07

Last January, the Faculty of International Studies – The University of Foreign Language Studies (UFLS-UD) organized a 6-day field trip (from January 31st to February 1st, 2021) departing from Danang to Nghe An – Ninh Binh – Bac Ninh – Ha Noi and ending in Ha Tinh. This is a practical module integrated into the curriculum and taught at the faculty. Accordingly, every full-time student (both domestic and international students) at the faculty is eligible for the trip.

This is the very first time students from the faculty have the chance to experience this new learning module which is practical and beneficial. The students can choose to travel to the South or to the North from Danang. Due to the complicated development of Covid-19 pandemic especially in Ho Chi Minh City, for safety reasons, we mainly travel to provinces in the North.

Students participating in this module are able to visit a number of historical sites, renowned scenic landscape imbued with national and cultural identity of Vietnam such as: the paternal and maternal hometowns of the Former President Ho Chi Minh, Bai Dinh Pagoda, Dau Pagoda, Pen Tower, Do Temple, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and so on.

Dao Thi Thanh Tra – a student from class 17CNĐPH02 said: “This field trip is an unforgettable memory for myself in my university life. This is not only a chance for me and other students of the faculty to experience new things but also an occasion for us to sharpen our soft skills such as teamwork, presentation skills as well as how to live in harmony with others. Under the careful and thorough supervision of the university and the Faculty’s Executive Board, the field trip was absolutely a successful, meaningful and safe one”.
