UFLS-UD PARTICIPATE IN THE 18TH ASIACALL INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE

On November 26-27, 2021, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Long – Vice Rector of UFLS- UD participated in the conference as a keynote speaker. This conference was held online under the cooperation between Hoa Sen University and the Asia Association of Computer-Assisted Language Learning.
With the main theme “CALL in Asia and the World in the COVID and post-COVID eras: Technology in Language Education”, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Long made a presentation in the plenary session on “Adaptability to the crisis of COVID-19: The roles of the stakeholders”. The report is the research result done by UFLS – UD when changing the general approaches and policies of an educational institute into obtaining the goals through making changes of administrators, staff and lecturers in order to switch from face-to-face to online learning in response to Covid-19.
The research result also highlights drastic changes of the university in administrative management and training activities such as introducing a series of new policies, forming task forces to act in urgent situations and applying technology in long-term training plans, developing lesson plans, constantly assisting students and resolving all student-related problems during the online courses. Additionally, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Long also mentioned the initiatives from the school’s staff and lecturers in his presentation.
