UFLS-UD Welcomes Japanese Dignitaries

On the morning of August 28, 2015, Da Nang University of Foreign Language Studies (UFLS-UD) was honored to receive Mr. Tsutomu Tomioka – Member of the House of Representatives and Mr. Ishikawa Akihito – President of Nagasaki University of Foreign Language Studies, Japan.

The delegation was warmly welcomed by Dr. Tran Huu Phuc – Rector of UFLS-UD, representatives from the Office for Science and International Cooperation, Department of Nhat-Han-Thai, UFLS-UD.

At the meeting, Dr. Tran Huu Phuc introduced the operations of the University and specifically of the Japanese language in Department of Nhat-Han-Thai, UFLS-UD.
 
Currently there have been many ongoing collaborative activities between UFLS-UD with Japanese institutes, universities and companies in training, scientific research, academic exchange, and exchange of staff and students.
 
UFLS-UD also has the lecturers and researchers being trained for professional upgrading at Japanese institutes and universities; these human resources have been making important contributions to the development of UFLS-UD. In addition, UFLS-UD is also truly honored to receive the support and assistance of the Government of Japan, and Japanese authorities in the process of building and developing the university in recent years.
 
Dr. Tran Huu Phuc presented flowers to Mr. Tsutomu Tomioka – Member of the House of Representatives and Mr. Ishikawa Akihito – President of Nagasaki University of Foreign Language Studies, Japan.
 
Dr. Tsutomu Tomioka highly appreciated the collaborative research, academic and cultural exchanges between UFLS-UD and Japanese institutes, universities and companies. He recommended that UFLS-UD actively provide explicit and specific proposals for supporting the cooperation between UFLS-UD with Japanese partners, towards long-term and effective cooperation.
