UNIVERSITY OF FOREIGN LANGUAGE STUDIES - THE UNIVERSITY OF DANANG (UFLS-UD) ACHIEVES INSTITUTIONAL EDUCATION ACCREDITATION STANDARDS FOR 2ND PERIOD

On Wednesday morning of 14th September 2022, UFLS-UD in conjunction with Center for Educational Accreditation - Vietnam National University solemnly organized the Announcement Ceremony of the decision to award UFLS-UD with the Certificate of Institutional Education Accreditation.
Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Dinh Van Toan, Chairman of the Educational Accreditation Committee, Vice-Director of Center for Educational Accreditation - Vietnam National University extended congratulations to and applauded the efforts of UFLS - UD in enhancing the educational quality, especially in the context that requires flexible adaptation to and precautionary measures against Covid-19 pandemic.
This remarkable achievement is a testament to the credibility of UFLS-UD by which constant improvements have been made to fulfill quality assurance criteria in collective endeavors to develop sustainably into a leading educational and research institution on human language, culture, and world civilization on a regional and nation-wide scale, contributing substantially to socio-economic development and international integration.
According to Associate Professor Dr. Tran Huu Phuc, Rector of UFLS-UD, the University is one of the pioneering higher education institutions nationwide to have taken part in external quality assessment and been given accreditation for the 1st period since October, 2016. Now the University has been awarded the Certificate of Institutional Education Accreditation for the 2nd period after having fulfilled quality assurance criteria set by the external assessment team of Center for Educational Accreditation - Vietnam National University.
Not limited to that, the University has been actively involved in program assessment. There have been so far three educational programs given accreditation in accordance with the requirement of the standard details of the ASEAN University Network - Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) and there will be four more programs to be assessed by national accreditation requirements this year.
At the ceremony, the representative leader of Center for Educational Accreditation - Vietnam National University announced the decision No. 595/QD-KDCL dated 09 August 2022 and granted the Certificate of Institutional Education Accreditation to UFLS-UD for the 2nd period.
