WELCOMING AND WORKING WITH LEADER OF JAPAN INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION AGENCY (JICA)

On March 14, 2023, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Huu Phuc, Rector of University of Foreign Language Studies - The University of Danang (UFLS-UD) chaired the meeting and worked with Mr. Hanazato Nobuhiko of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
At the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Huu Phuc welcomed the visit of JICA delegation to the University. The Rector extended his sincere thank to JICA in general and to Mr. Hanazato Nobuhiko in particular for promoting the activities of sending Japanese volunteer teachers to UFLS-UD in the past time and in the coming time.
Talking with the University's leaders, Mr. Hanazato Nobuhiko - JICA said that Vietnam is one of the countries receiving the highest number of JICA volunteers. After a long interruption by the Covid-19 pandemic, in the coming time, JICA will continue to promote its support to the university in terms of sending Japanese volunteers focusing on three areas including Japanese language teaching, rehabilitation, and tourism, agriculture, socio-economic development of Danang. Da Nang is the first locality of Vietnam that JICA has chosen to send volunteers to support Japanese language teaching, and University of Foreign Language Studies - The University of Danang (UFLS-UD) is highly appreciated by JICA as a reliable partner through previous cooperations.
